Founded in 1966 as Civil Engineering Institute and a University since 2000, Brest State Technical University (BrSTU) is one of the largest educational institutions and research centers in the western region of Belarus with a student community of 11 128. The University offers 25 undergraduate courses and 22 post- graduate courses (8 Master’s Degree courses, 14 PhD courses); the institution has 33 departments grouped into 8 faculties. One of the University’s key priorities is to develop internationally. BrSTU develops close contacts with higher institutions of Germany, Poland and Russia. This partnership creates an essential basis for mutually useful training activity and scientific researches.
