Faculty for Prevention and Liquidation of Emergency Situations
History
28.03.2000 — Gomel Commanding and Engineering Higher School of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus was founded on the basis of Gomel Secondary Fire-Technical School of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus.
2003 — Gomel Commanding and Engineering Higher School of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus was renamed into Gomel Engineering Institute of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus.
25.05.2004 — state establishment of education “Lyceum was attached to Gomel Engineering Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus” was created.
29.08.2005 — magistracy on the specialty “Prevention and liquidation of emergency situations” with qualification “Master of technical sciences” was established.
16.07.2010 — issued the certificate of Quality Management system which certifies that the Quality Management System of designing, developing and providing training and educational services in the field of mergency protection, fire and industrial safety (training and education of Specialists as the first degree and Masters as the second degree of higher education, re- training and raising the level of proficiency); conducting of educational work, scientific research and innovative activity conforms to the requirements of STB ISO 9001-2009).
