History
Baranovichi State University was established by a decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus in June 2004. 12 buildings were reconstructed to house its study facilities. New halls of residence, a health center and a dining hall were built.

Campus Information
Students are offered accommodation in a 5-floor building — block fashion dormitory constructed in 2006. For 2 rooms, each lived in by 2 and 4 students; there is a bathroom, a toilet and a kitchen including new furniture and equipment. The basement houses a gym, a laundry room and a fitness room. All foreigners are provided with the accommodation.

Sports Facilities
There is a stadium and indoor gyms. There are orienteering, track-and-field athletics, handball, volleyball, football (soccer), boxing, arm-wrestling and table tennis clubs. New equipment for winter sports has been purchased. Annually, sports days are held in 16 events. Student Life The University supports its multiple clubs and youth associations including folk groups, a pop song studio and the Fashion theatre. Guided tours and camping outings are arranged for students.
