History
International Institute of Labour and Social Relations is a successor of Higher School of trade unions, the history of which goes back to the beginning of 1920th. It was given the government’s recognition in 1993, when it received a license from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. The same year branches of the institute in Gomel and Vitebsk were opened. In the beginning of 2002 the institute was given a right for retraining and improving qualification of business executives and specialists in the field of economics. In 2008 the institute was accredited in the Republic of Belarus as higher education establishment and was given the right to provide graduates with staterecognized degrees in 8 qualifications: legal science, international law, logistics, financial accounting, marketing, management, economics and business management, global economics.
In 2007 master’s programme and post-graduate school training specialists in the field of economics were opened in International Institute of Labour and Social Relations.
License №02100/0453865 giving the right for providing educational activities was prolonged till the 30th April 2014.
On the 1st September 2010 as a result of an audit, carried out by a leading company in the sphere of certification Bureau Veritas Sertification, having accreditation of UKAS (The United Kingdom Accreditation Service) in the UK, International Institute of Labour and Social Relations was given the international certificate of the system of management quality for matching with international standards ISO 9001:2008. It significantly enhances prestige of International Institute of Labour and Social Relations in global educational sphere.

Foreign students live in hostel.
Sports Facilities
There are sections of cheerleading and ping-pong. Sectional work in different sports is organized annually. Competitions in volleyball, indoor football, basketball, ping-pong and darts are carried out.
