History

The institute was established in 1991 by Nikolay Susha. At first it was called “Nongovernmental Institute of Management”. The first intake of students was just 200 people. It was renamed into Minsk Institute of Management in the year 2000.
The hallmark of the Institute is the fact that the educational process is carried out entirely on the territories that belong to the Institute (the Institute owns 25 buildings).

Total number of students (including students from Russian Federation) — 11 870 (115). Total number of foreign students — 139.

 Tuition fees (per year)

Level 1: from $1012 — full-time education, from $594 – part-time education.
Level 2: from $910 — full-time education, from $910 – part-time education.
PhD: from $306 — full-time education, from $238 – part-time education.

Sports Facilities

The  teams  in  mini  football,  volleyball,  chess, shooting, swimming, darts, table tennis, basketball and power lifing for participate in sports competitions organized by the sports club of the Institute.
There is a sports centre with basketball and volleyball grounds and a football stadium, a 350 sq.m. sports gym, a modern training gym, and a gym for aerobics in the Institute.
 

Student Life

A range of such creative associations and societies as a literary society named “Natkhnenne” (“Inspiration”), a philosophic “Paydeya” (“Education”) seminar association, a political science association named “Discourse” and other scientific and creative societies have been created in the Minsk Institute of Management. The purpose of these associations and societies is the search for and development of students’ talents in the fields of education, culture and art.
